Hi there,
My name is Nina and I work at Nextcloud. Since you guys like to
mess around with open source and get your hands dirty with code, I
think we can do some cool stuff together. You may have heard about
Nextcloud before but for those of you who don’t know us yet, here
is a short introduction.
Nextcloud is an open source file sync & share solutions. Our
goal is to give people and organizations a secure and private way
to control their data and communication, so that they don’t have
to give everything to Google or Dropbox. The software is free and
open source, and we also conceived a plug&play device, the
Nextcloud Box, to provide people with preconfigured home device
working on a Raspberry Pi.
We are very proud to have built a community of millions of users,
and we organize a conference at the end of the summer to meet and
hack at the TU Berlin. Are you interested in participating? You
can register here : https://conf.nextcloud.com
The conference takes place from August 22nd to August 29th and we
want to organize a hack day for people interested in playing with
Nextcloud. Would you be interested in our conference kit? We can
send you flyers, posters and useful content about Nextcloud and
the Nextcloud box. We are also thinking about organizing a
specific Nextcloud training day for hackerspace people during the
conference, send me a mail at nina@nextcloud.com if
you’re interested!
Cheers,
Nina
